George Mouriadis was born in New York City and has spent most of his life between New York and Europe.

 

Being bilingual has given George  the opportunity to have a career in Europe as a leading man, receiving recognition from critics and audiences alike for his portrayals of a variety of characters in all mediums.

 

Throughout the years he has starred in many blockbuster films,television shows and theatre productions both in Greece and in the U.S. ,including starring in one of the biggest on screen productions ever in Eastern/Southern Europe  titled “Farewell Anatolia” , based on the best selling novel by Dido Sotiriou and directed by critically acclaimed director Kostas Koutsomitis.

 

A graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, George studied acting with Terry Schreiber , Michael Howard , Lee Brock , Penny Templeton and at The Lee Strasberg Institute. Amongst other productions he also has worked with Terry Schreiber in two off-Broadway Productions: “The last days of Judas Iscariot” by Stephen Adly Guirgis  and “The Fallen” by Yasmine Beverly Rana.
